International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People 2025

On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the Young Communist League expresses its solidarity with and extends its fullest fraternal greetings to the Palestinian Democratic Youth Union, its parent party the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, all of its organisations from the exterior, to the occupations jails, the West Bank and to the Gaza Strip where party cadres continue to resist by all appropriate and legal means, including the Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces of the National Resistance Brigades.

YCL Women’s Commission statement concerning the government’s upcoming VAWG strategy

The Women’s Commission of the Young Communist League of Britain notes Labour’s pledge to halve violence against women and girls (VAWG) in the next decade, the strategy for which will be released this coming September. The government cannot allow the plague of VAWG on society to persist and stark action must be taken to deliver this stepping stone towards a safe society for women.
